To fellow musicians, bandleader, dance & festival chairs:
Please send us your information of any Polish / German / Sloven / Czech style polka event within the 7 state area (sorry, only western PA and western NY) and we’ll post it on the schedule! We update the list when we get new info or details change.
Send your comments ... good & not so good ... about this page to:
If you know of an upcoming Polka Dance or event available to the public, email that info to:
We will add the info to the new listing as we receive information on new places to dance or listen to Polkas!
As far as we can determine, all events are open to the public but may have a cost to be admitted.
Some events may require reservations and may have restrictions on what can be brought into the venue.
PolkaUSA.com has no affiliation with events in the listing.
We attempt to provide accurate and timely information regarding events. We are not responsible for changes in schedules of dates, time and/or bands.
It is best to contact the event's promoter/administrator to get the most up-to-date information.
How to view and use the "Midwest Area Events" listing: [This applies to desktop and laptop screens ... good luck on your mobile device!]
The listing may look a bit small when you first view the page, but there are ways to be able to view it better!
At the bottom of the listing above, there may be a box that looks like this:
- Clicking the magnifying glass toggles the listing back and forth between as big as that frame and back to a smaller view.
- Clicking the PLUS sign will make it as big as that frame and even bigger losing part of the listing to the right & left ... the MINUS sign makes it smaller.
You can use the scroll bar at the bottom of the listing to go right and left AND the scroll bar on the right side to go up and down if it is too big to be shown on your screen.
If you want to pop the listing out into its own screen and print the listing, look to the upper right part of the listing. You should see this:
Click on that "box with the arrow" and the listing will show in a new tab in your browser. From there you can view it AND print it to your favorite printer!
